Stats and attributes in Titan Quest 2 determine the character's strengths and weaknesses, as well as the player's effectiveness at certain actions within the game. These play a crucial role in defining the player's capabilities and effectiveness in combat. There are also five base traits, which include Strength, Intelligence, Dexterity, Health, and Energy. Every creature in the game has these traits. In the previous game, there are three attributes that help in dealing damage: Strength, Intelligence, and Dexterity, this will likely be similar for Titan Quest 2. On this page, you can find all the information related to Stats and attributes in Titan Quest 2.

NOTE: All the information provided is based on speculations from the first game, since most information regarding Titan Quest 2 remains undisclosed. This page will be updated once more information has been released.

How do Stats and Attributes work in Titan Quest 2?

The player's attributes can be increased by investing attribute points (AP) into them. Each attribute point contributes +4 points to increase Strength, Intelligence, or Dexterity, and a +40 points boost to Health and Energy. The player gains 2 attribute points with every level-up, with additional points granted for the completion of certain quests in the game.

Titan Quest 2 Stats and Attributes

Strength (STR)

Strength increases Physical damage and it only works on a weapon's base damage. Strength is also a requirement for players to wear better gear and at lower levels, the absolute bonus generally gives players a larger boost, particularly with attack speed modifying items. For every 65 points of Strength, there is an increase of 10% in Physical damage, accompanied by an additional +2 flat Physical damage.

Dexterity (DEX)

Dexterity increases Pierce, Poison, and Bleeding damage. Strength provides a slightly more substantial bonus per stat point compared to Dexterity, but it is important to note that Piercing damage completely ignores armor, and some enemies are resistant to Pierce, Poison, and Bleed damage. Most weapons only deal a small percentage of Pierce damage, and focusing on Dexterity for damage is not ideal unless you're investing in a Mastery that gives a bonus to Piercing damage. Dexterity is also a needed attribute for some armor pieces. For every 100 points of Dexterity, there is a 10% increase in Piercing Damage, coupled with approximately +1.95 flat Piercing Damage. Additionally, every 50 points of Dexterity contribute to a 10% increase in Bleeding and Poison Damage.

Intelligence (INT)

Intelligence increases Elemental and Vitality damage, as well as Elemental DoT, Vitality Decay, and Physical Duration damage. Intelligence also increases base Energy (Mana) regen, which allows players to equip "Mage" class armor. For every 65 points of Intelligence, there is a 10% augmentation in Elemental Damage, accompanied by approximately 1.625 flat Elemental Damage (Precision may vary based on Titan Quest's decimal handling). Also, each 50 points of Intelligence contribute to a 10% increase in Elemental duration damage, evenly distributed throughout the duration, resulting in larger bonuses for Burn, Frostburn, and Electrical Burn. Additionally, it adds a 10% boost to Vitality Decay Damage.

Health (HP)

Health simply measures how much damage the player can take before they die. Essentially called as HP or Hit Points. This represents the player's vitality, having higher HP allows players to withstand more damage in combat.

Energy (Mana)

Energy is required to use active skills like attack spells and summons. Allocating points to Energy increases the player's mana pool. Additionally, certain items and equipment may provide bonuses to mana regen.
