Weapons in Titan Quest 2 are pieces of equipment that are used to inflict damage on hostile creatures such as Enemies and Bosses. Weapons are categorized into groups and each group possesses different base abilities and different random modifiers providing many different options for the player. From the previous game, there were one-handed weapons and two-handed weapons and the former would allow players to use shields, but it won't inflict as much damage as the latter. There were also 8 categories of weapons to choose from, and each category had a number of weapons to choose from with different rarities, stats, and attributes embedded onto the weapon. In the original Titan Quest, weapon drops are determined by the weapon that the enemy is holding. You could find a centaur that wields a bow and when defeated, it would drop the very same bow it wielded, while another centaur wielding an axe would drop the axe after being defeated. It is possible that this mechanic will return to Titan Quest 2. This page will cover all available weapons, their different stats and bonuses, and how to acquire them in Titan Quest 2.

NOTE: All the information provided is based on speculations from the first game, since most information regarding Titan Quest 2 remains undisclosed. This page will be updated once more information has been released.

Weapon Quality in Titan Quest 2

There are many different weapon qualities that existed from the previous game, Titan Quest. The common weapon exists in three different materials and can be made out of metal or wood. The quality will define the weapon's stats and special properties, the higher the quality, the lesser the chance for the weapon to drop. It will also depend on the difficulty the player is playing the game, listed below are the materials that will drop based on the difficulty:

  • Normal Difficulty: Copper, Bronze, Iron, Pine, Ash, and Oak
  • Epic Difficulty: Copper Gravel, Orichalcum, Adamant, Spruce, Yew, and Ironwood
  • Legendary Difficulty: Azurite, Galantium, Turanite, Willow, Blackthorn, and Diamondwood

Enhancing Weapons in Titan Quest 2

Weapons could be enhanced through socketing Relics and Charms. These two socketable items were acquired as set drops from enemies in certain acts, and provided basic stat boosts, as well as set bonuses when enough of the same Relic or Charm were socketed in. They were upgradable through the game's relatively simple crafting system. By combining three of the same Relic and five of the same Charm, you could enhance the effects of these items. Do note that Blue and Purple items could not have Relics and Charms socketed into them. This mechanic will likely return in Titan Quest 2.
